Rates

With six cabins/bunkies to choose from, we’ll help set you up with accommodation that’s right for you. Tell us how many people are in your party, if some people want to share rooms, and when you would like to come and we’ll make our best recommendation! Or see our cabins page and let us know which one(s) you are interested in.

Sioux Lodge is a water-access resort. If you have your own watercraft, the closest public boat launch is Abram Lake Mile 5 Boat Launch. You can arrange for a launch pass through the Tourist Information Centre.

If you don't have your own boat, you can rent a canoe or kayaks from us that we will bring to the land use permit on Boulder Drive for you to be able to paddle across to the lodge. It is about a 15-30 minute paddle from the site at Boulder Drive. People with a desire for a longer paddle could rent canoes or kayaks from Sioux Lookout town beach.

This is luxury camping with the chance to relax and unplug from the stresses of modern life. There is no running water or electricity; you will stay in comfortable cabins with new premium mattresses, the chance to connect with nature and your friends/family, and to enjoy gorgeous lakeside views. The intense freshness of the air, the beauty of miles and miles of untouched lakes and trees, and the sounds of birds and water will fill you with awe as you drift off to sleep in a comfortable cabin on a luxury mattress.

CANOE AND PADDLE RENTAL: $90 per day

KAYAK AND PADDLE RENTAL: $70 per day

LIFEJACKET RENTAL: $15 per day

Note that we have a limited number of kayaks/canoes so they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Sales tax will be added to rates.

Price includes use of the dock to tie up your boat.

There is a public restaurant and bar a very short boat ride away if you don't feel like cooking. There are also free short-term public boat docks in Sioux Lookout if you want to boat into town for groceries or a restaurant meal.

We are open from mid-May until the end of September for summer bookings and from January until April for winter bookings.

A deposit of 20% is required for all reservations at Sioux Lodge. Deposits can be paid by e-transfer or by sending a cheque. Deposits are due at time of booking. We will send confirmation of your reservation and acknowledge payment of your deposit by mail or email.

Payment

The balance is due at the end of your trip.

Accepted Methods of Payment

We accept cheques, cash, and e-transfers.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation 90 days prior to your trip:

If a cancellation is made 90 days prior to your trip, 50% of the deposit will be credited to next year. The remaining deposit, minus a $70 cancellation fee will be refunded.

Cancellation 90 days within your trip:

For cancellations made within 90 days of your trip, 50% of the deposit will be credited to the following year and the remaining deposit is not refundable or transferable.
